Wherever music makes people feel better, that’s where you’ll find Eddy. You’ll know his voice from the radio (Chris Evans once called him the coolest man working in the medium). His groundbreaking show on Xfm, The Remix, is the biggest specialist show on the station. You’ll know his immaculately groomed armpits from the clubs, where his Remix Allnighter and Dance Rocks nights are consistently among the best-reviewed parties available to the UK and Ibiza’s hedonists. You might have seen his name on Ibiza Rocks or Ministry Of Sound posters. or on tour with The Prodigy, being their favourite DJ. And you may know his face or voice from MTV’s groundbreaking Up For It Live show, from his stand-in spots filling in for Zane Lowe on MTV2’s Gonzo, and from all manner of shows on ITV, Channel 4, Five or ITV1 Wales. If you really know your tunes, you'll know Eddy remixes the likes of Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Delays, Candi Staton and Rage Against the Machine under The Losers moniker.

He’s one of the hottest DJs around, an acclaimed remixer and a proven talent at producing, with underground hits ‘Her’ and ‘Ready for the K-Hole’ having blown dancefloors apart across the globe. Kissy Sell Out began DJing as a teenager, having turned from a Nirvana fan to a confused dance music fan overnight when he came across an acid house mix CD. Unsurprisingly, his music has a wide range of influences from heavy rock, to drum n bass, to dance- with acts like Sonic Youth, Scritti Politti DFA, Headman Daft Punk and Aphrodite. Now an established DJ and never far from his trademark airhorn to fire-up the revellers, he has toured Australia and Europe, played all the major UK festivals and is renowned for crazy energetic sets. He’s quickly drawn the attention of several high profile DJs including those at Radio One, who’ve signed him up for his own radio show. Over the last year he has remixed singles for the likes of Gwen Stefani, the Sugababes, Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris and the Human League. His first white label single ‘Her’ drew acclaim from established artists such as Mylo and Simian Mobile Disco and was quickly established as an underground dance hit. His debut album was fiercely fought over by several record labels, and is finally making a home at Asylum- the iconic imprint on Atlantic Records

Peddlars of Dirt Disco, South London's own Pioneers of Cludge, Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader, the faces behind The Loose Cannons, are fresh from mixing tunes for Roisin Murphy, & Justice. They present a Sony Award winning radio show on Kiss, London's best loved Dance Music station. The Loose Cannons are at times a 2-man djing extravaganza and a full 7-piece live Love Orchestra, injecting dirt-fuelled glamour & disrepute to dancefloors worldwide.
Since the Legendary Bootsy Collins told them to "Keep the funk alive" in 2002 they've tried to do just that, spreading love of all things turbo-charged, filthy, squelchy, and buzzsaw B-lined of a bastardised funk nature. They have just released their latest single - a rework of Janet Jackson's 'What Have You Done for Me Lately" . Frankly your feet are gonna hurt when the Cannons are on the decks.

Warehouse Rock band Trash Fashion fuse together a salacious mix of rock, dance, emo, metal and hardcore influences to create a unique, catchy and attention-grabbing sound. Primary 1 is 21 year-old producer & multi-instrumentalist virtuoso Joe
Flory. His fresh take on electronic pop has already gained plenty of fanfare
after his bedroom demos found their way onto the net. This was quickly
picked up on by Phantasy Sound, who have since released his debut single
ŒHold Me Down¹ to massive acclaim. Currently working on new material with
Paul Epworth, and touring with the likes of Metronomy and The Shoes. Expect
big things.

A.HUMAN formed in a streamline, brass-tapped, no-spirit pub-shop in Clerkenwell,,London.
Their meeting was forced through employment, serving lamb cordial to suited no-brains who
cared more for the wage then they did for their souls. Tired of the prospect of serving these
people forever, they wrote music in a lounge with a window, watched life insurance adverts whilst
passing Taylor Mades. In their own world they continued to create; with time interest came from
the world that trades in music, and on a pier, on a Golden Mile they signed away their eyes.
They produce a music that is undoubtedly unique. Through atmospheric music, quirky characters
and witty lyricism they create a world that is far away from our own. Although each song works
independently, together they tell a larger more mystical and bizarre story that accompanies their
debut album. Their music mixes both rock and electronic to a strikingly soulful effect.
They now spend their times in an underground studio called “The Difference Engine”. In the
bowels of Farringdon they scribe away, hiding from the troubles that brew overhead. They chip
away on broken old keyboards telling stories and fables of good versus evil. In a year they became
live and people would throw limbs and curse them in joy. A unity was born and those who once
served the cordial were now being toasted with it.

Like many music lovers of his generation James Yuill has a passion for both the emotional songwriting and atmospheres of artists such as Nick Drake, Radiohead and Sufjan Stevens and the visceral beats and dynamic rhythms of Justice, Chemical Brothers and Aphex Twin. Unlike anyone else however, James has fused these seemingly disparate influences into a magical sound of his very own. The alps will be in awe of Mr Yuill….

Drunken girls, run-down Chevies and bottles of Bud lying on the floor. On
first impressions, the Shoes fit the profile of these cool guys from school,
doing a guerrilla gig on a Texaco parking lot in Minnesota. Miles away from
France¹s local countryside, one would think, but surprisingly the duo is
actually part of the new French electro Scene. Also computers have replaced
electric guitars. So much for old school rock¹n¹roll: The Shoes live are a
perfect mix between a DJ set and a hysterical concert. The Shoes, the
end-of-2007 shock, will knock you out with a strong electro rock uppercut
that will make you want to join a crazy student fraternity.
So many unofficial remixes requests are posted on their Myspace page,
indicating the strong popularity of the band. On the official side, however
the likes of Brodinski, Yuksek or Kazey have all contributed their remixes
as well as 80HZ Kids from Japan. The Shoes allows the two hyper creative
members to offload the pressure: a collaboration with England¹s Primary One
is in process; and they have already remixed Hard Fi, Hadouken! Or even
Mystery Jets.

Already legendary for their Live/DJ sets which utilises electronic kit they
build themselves to facilitate 'live remixing' this Brighton-based duo
first surfaced in 2006 with their huge 12" bootleg of Klaxons cover of 'The
Bouncer', which sold out within the blink of an 'all seeing' eye. Puregroove
Records said on their blog that it was Œliterally growing wings and flying
out the door¹. Not before dropping a storming Metronomy remix which gained
support from everyone from Annie Mac to Pete Tong did SC deliver a torrent
of their own well received single releases each via a completely different
but all painfully cool labels: Art Goes Pop Young, Turks/XL, Regal, and
Holiphonic.
The storm continued with follow up the ridiculously popular Late Of The
Pier bootleg and official remixes for what can only be described as a
'who¹s, who' list of the brightest and best indie acts in the world today
including The Maccabees, Dandi Wind, Shychild, The Whip, Sunshine
Underground and The Wombats.

Since bursting onto the scene with his fresh new sound, David has remixed high profile artists such as Mercury winners The Klaxons, The Rumble Strips, Operator Please, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and The Lo Fidelity All Stars. The Greco Roman Sound System team even asked him to write a theme tune for their night. The resulting track "Oi Oi New York This is London" was an underground banger with remixes on the 12" by Jesse Rose, Skream and Hot Chip.
Next up came the ‘Chelsea Girls’ 12” supported by XFM, Zane Lowe and Rob Da Bank at Radio 1. His live sets, either laptop show or full band ensemble, have seen him play shows ranging from Shoreditch parties to touring the UK with Calvin Harris.
Now with a new 12" out on Kitsune and gigs across the UK & Europe planned for the coming months, the rest of the world is starting to catch onto the man holding both underground credentials and a pop sensibility.

After having just finished a tour supporting The Hoosiers, Naomi Roper is
one to watch. With two singles releases on itunes and an album on the way
Naomi combines classic song writing with an emotional and modern edge. Her
voice is truly unique. The success of her live performances have been
mirrored in the number of hits on her myspace and you tube, where Naomi's
unique cover of a Michael Jackson track has achieved air time and
plaudits...and this is even before it's been officially released.

With the release of his new e.p., In Your Machine, Alex Metric is deadly on
a mission to destroy dancefloors‹and expectations. His second e.p. for the
Marine Parade label (following 2007's acclaimed Whatshewants), Metric's
latest effort caps a stellar moment for the renowned U.K.
artist/producer/DJ. He was named "remixer of 2007" by XFM's Eddy Temple
Morris, following in the heady footsteps of Jacques Le Cont, Phones, Jagz
Kooner and Unkle‹"fucking heroes of mine, in fact," he says of the honor.
Metric recently headlined the tastemaking London club night "Together" with
D.I.M, Yuksek and Tronik Youth; with tour dates slotted for Australia, Hong
Kong, and the main room at the famed Fabric, world domination appears to be
solidly within young Metric's grasp‹especially as In Your Machine serves as
a storming sneak preview of Metric's upcoming artist album, due later this
year. "Fuck genres, fuck fitting into a style," he says of the uncharted
territory revealed on his new grooves. The vibe is hooky electronic music,
with real songwriting‹the whole reason i got into music in the first place.

Dan M cut his creative teeth in art school, after which he co-formed and
fronted infamous New Cross band Bolt Action Five. Between shows, practice,
recording, djing and remixing he regularly worked in the occasionally
cartoonish world of backyard, low budget music videos and paid his rent
fulfilling the role of savvy young animator on various commercials. In 2008
he is teaming up with Kissy Sell Out to collaborate and feature as vocalist
in the latter's eagerly awaited debut album. At the same time, to the
annoyance of loved ones he spends all his free time doing his own solo music
project. Expect results.

Actively working since 2007, The Bloody Beetroots, aka Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea, have started with a bunch of remixes characterized by electro-punk, acid and schizoid sound. Many think about them as another clone of Justice or Boys Boize, some other mellower listener forees the big potentials of this duo that loves to show itself to the public masked like Venom. Alex Gopher and Etienne De Crecy, the godfathers of “ French Touch” realise that and let their EPs (respectively “The Game” and “Funk”) go through the “beetroots’ treatment”. Two monster remixes come out of these tracks: an apotheosis of riff-a-rama with growing handclaps and charleston… heavy stuff. Incredibly almost everyboy from the French scene fall in love with the Beetroots.

Today, Chris Lung works with Japanese producer Yutaka Nakamura by her side,
and the lyrics to her new material has been written by Boris Bergman
(responsible for many classics by Alain Bashung, Arno, and who recently
managed to break the French-English language barrier in the recent and
highly acclaimed Serge Gainsbourg tribute "Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited").
Even though her musical world is deeply rooted in rock music, Lung pursued
her search for new sonic expressions and developed a rock sound she made her
own. Boris Bergman sensuous lyrics are carried by her voice, defying the
layers of emotions and sounds, to take the listener on a cinematic journey.
Armed with her visions and her guitar, boldly moving beyond the boundaries
of musical styles, Chris Lung brings modern pop-rock to new territory.

No, Cristal Palace is not a bad English football team or the new electro
trash sensation but really a mighty rock band with style with good
influences.
In this palace, girls and boys band gives you a rock tainted of punk funk
like the Bush Tetras, Gang of Four or the Jam and who creates a new sound
adding minimalist electro samples. Their music is inspired from the best of
the post new-wave, no-wave, funk and punk. On stage, the band brings out an
animalist and sexy energy with on vocal the poisonous "Cheree" Laurianne and
the " working class hero" Maxime accompanied with a backing band including
the bass player Laure, Benjamin on the drums and the conductor guitarist
Dorian Gray .
